Spinnaker is a top Microsoft CRM reseller in the US in the SMB space. Spinnaker is expanding and needing to add a new team member. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of project management and development. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of envisioning, design and planning, development, testing and go-live of CRM-related projects. The Project Manager is responsible for completion of the project on time, on budget and within scope. To this end, the PM performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, coordinating all resources and timelines; setting deadlines; assigning responsibilities; and monitoring, summarizing and communicating the progress of the project. The Project Manager remains as the primary liaison between the client and our company. Additional responsibilities include: driving project envisioning, writing functional specification documentation creation and working closely with engineers to develop solutions for project-based work. Three or more years Project Management experience · Plan projects in order to accomplish its goals within constraints such as time, cost and pre-determined project scope o Create time estimates and Work Orders for work to be performed · Schedule tasks, deadlines and milestones for all resources o Create MS Project Plans o Develop and Track Budgets o Coordinate and schedule Resources · Define Project Scope · Identify schedule uncertainties and risks for both client and Spinnaker o Develop schedule contingency plans
Day-to-Day Management · Run the project on a day-to-day basis · Coordinate developers, engineers, other staff and clients · Assemble assets required for development team to perform tasks · Coordinate communication between staff and third parties acting on behalf of the client · Efficiently and competently manage problems -- when things go off plan (due to scope-creep, changed requirements, missed deadlines etc.) bring them back on plan or create a new plan with the assistance of key-stakeholders · Intimately understand the requirements of the project and ensure that work proceeds within scope, on time and on budget · Constantly monitor and report on the progress of a project
Evaluation & Reporting · Track and report team billable hours · Analyze project profitability
General Skills/Assets · Keep current on new technologies as they relate to CRM · Responsible for managing multiple projects at one time · Working knowledge of the following tools: · Windows, Office, MS Project, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint · Multi-task oriented · Excellent communication and professional writing skills
The following experience is a definite plus: · Software Project Management Training · Implementation/Testing · Certifications in Microsoft CRM · Microsoft SharePoint · Sage CRM SalesLogix knowledge · Understanding of software development environments/methodologies |
