Pat Sullivan of SalesLogix Wins Prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award |

(Nasdaq: SLGX - news) today announced that Pat Sullivan, chairman, President and
CEO, was awarded the 1999 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Sullivan is widely recognized as a pioneer and visionary in the sales
automation industry and is attributed with creating the Contact Management
software category with the introduction of ACT!®. In 1998, Sullivan was
recognized as one of 80 Most Influential People in Sales and Marketing History
by Sales and Marketing Management Magazine. Since founding SalesLogix in 1996,
Sullivan has rapidly developed the worlds fastest growing front office
automation company, with more than 1300 customers and 225 business partners, in
addition to leading the company through a very successful initial public
offering.

received the coveted Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, as it was awarded
in 1993 in recognition of his success at the helm of CSI.
